Cliff Jumping

Cliff Jumping in the Reno-Tahoe area is a way of life for any child who grew up around here without parental supervision. Please feel free to add any great spots or pictures you might have.

  1. Farad
  2. Bliss
  3. Yuba Gap

Farad

Located just West outside of Verdi along I-80 (You will see the big sign), this well-hidden spot has something for everyone, from jumping off the shore to the Train Bridge to the infamous “Bush Gap.” You can check out this [WWW]MAP, or use MapQuest/Talk to someone in the know.
“The Train Bridge”

Bliss

DL Bliss National Park, located on the Southwest side of Lake Tahoe, is home to the infamous “Mohawk Rock”. You have to walk south on the beach away from the tourist area to get to it, but there are tons of little leaps and pools along the way. Check out this [WWW]Gainer Backflip video.
“Mohawk Rock”

Yuba Gap

Quite a drive, but worth it. Go in the summer, because the water is FREEZING.
