ASUN Bookstore

Provide the goods and services essential to the educational process in a timely and cost effective fashion, promote the University on a local, regional, and national basis by providing quality custom merchandise, paid for by the Bookstore, provide support for the University and Student Programs through donations and selected funding as deemed appropriate by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada.

Campus Escort

The mission of the Campus Escort Service is to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable escorts for the University of Nevada, Reno students, staff, faculty, and visitors to their vehicles, residence, or any facility on campus or within a two mile radius from the perimeter of the University campus.

Our objective is to provide a safe transportation alternative to people on campus after normal business hours and to maintain a safe campus. We offer rides to any location on campus, as well as to the immediate vicinity so long as the University is the start or end of your journey. Service Hours: 7 days a week, 7:00 p.m. to 1 a.m., except winter hours-5:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. Closed for Winter and Spring Breaks

Center for Cultural Diversity

The Center for Student Cultural Diversity (The Center) holds as its primary mission to support the larger University of Nevada, Reno mission to “Reflect and respect the rich ethnic and cultural diversity of the citizens of Nevada in its academic programs, support programs, and in the composition of its faculty, administration, staff and student body.” The Center researches, designs and implements unique programs and services that promote recruitment and retention, the pursuit of academic success and graduation. The Center’s efforts expand cultural, historical and community awareness and maintain an open, safe and inclusive environment for all students. Counseling Services

Counseling Services at the University of Nevada, Reno is the primary facility on campus for addressing personal, psychological, and mental health and substance abuse treament needs of both undergraduate and graduate students. Disability Resource Center

Downing Counseling Clinic

The Downing Clinic is a training center for graduate students at the University of Nevada, Reno. Client issues are discussed within a confidential supervisory group facilitated by CEP faculty. The Downing Clinic operates in accordance with state statutes and follows the ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the American Counseling Association.

Financial Aid

The mission of our office is to provide access to postsecondary education by rewarding academic achievement and by reducing the financial barriers that would otherwise prevent students from attending the University of Nevada, Reno. We administer programs of merit aid-scholarships, and need-based aid– grants, loans, and work-study.
